It's been two years since I wrote my last blog post on the website, for which I apologise. It has, however, been a very challenging couple of years..my lovely, younger sister died very suddenly from a brain haemmorhage in early 2023. This was a devastating experience for us, and it was followed by my father fracturing his spine a few months later, meaning that he was in hospital for two months (with Covid and pneumonia on top). Just before he was discharged, I broke my wrist, which was very debilitating and then in 2024 my father deteriorated further and died last Summer. Inevitably, we've had all that follows to deal with and have only just this month completed on the sale of his house after clearing it out etc.
I have been reading when I can but it has been a time of great loss, exhaustion and of course a watershed in terms of my own life (perhaps I need a reading myself!).
It will be lovely finally being able to reconnect with everyone and Spring is just around the corner!
